Proof of Concept & MVP Validation
• At
ROBE, we successfully designed and built a fully functional MVP (Minimum
Viable Product) that embodies our vision: a safe, effective, and user-friendly system for
patient repositioning. The MVP is not a prototype in theory—it is a physical,
test-ready system that has been manufactured using real components and
is operational
under real-world conditions.
• Our
MVP demonstrates the core capabilities of the ROBE system: precise motorized
motion, patient suspension for pressure relief, and seamless rotational
control. The system has been tested for usability, mechanical reliability, and
patient comfort. It serves as the foundation for both clinical
validation and production planning, giving us a strong platform from which
to launch pilots, attract partners, and enter the market with confidence.
Patent Applications
• Innovation
is the heart of ROBE, and our proprietary technology is now protected through patent
applications filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). These patents cover the unique mechanical design, the method of patient
suspension and repositioning, and the system’s safe integration with standard
beds.
• By
entering the PCT
stage,
we’ve secured global protection potential,
laying the groundwork for future entry into key markets across North America,
Europe, and Asia. Our patents demonstrate the novelty and technical value of
ROBE, providing strategic IP positioning that strengthens our competitive
advantage, while signaling to investors and clinical partners that ROBE is a defensible
and scalable solution.
Letters of Intent (LOIs)
• We
are proud to have secured multiple Letters of Intent (LOIs) from
respected healthcare institutions and clinical collaborators, affirming their interest
in evaluating ROBE through pilot programs. These LOIs represent not just
interest—but real commitments to test our solution in live environments with
real patients and caregiving teams.
• Each
LOI sets the stage for collecting clinical feedback, validating our system’s
safety and effectiveness, and building evidence that will support regulatory
submissions, reimbursement discussions, and large-scale deployments. Our
partners have expressed alignment with our mission and a shared belief in the
impact ROBE can have on pressure injury prevention and caregiver well-being.
